Richard the Lionheart Road

The Route Richard Cœur de Lion is a route of discovery in the south-west of Haute-Vienne from Charente to the gates of Dordogne and Corrèze. To the east of New Aquitaine, the Richard Coeur de Lion route brings together, over nearly 200 km, 23 sites open or accessible to the public. Its route is indicated by road signs with the Route heading: a crowned lion with a heart pierced by an arrow, recalling the tragic fate of Richard the Lionheart.

Good walk.
